New Zealand back in action:crazy:
Only get one test against Zimbabwe (for obvious reasons), there is however a tour match before starting the coming weekend.
The test squad has been named and now South Africa and England aren't the only sides with South African keepers. This guys is also significantly more South African than Prior as he has played a lot of his cricket there. I'm not criticising, I love the fact that we share our talent. Krugar has actually been playing in New Zealand for a while now and is illegible, so I say good look to him. He used to play for my SuperSport team the Titans, and cricinfo has him as belonging to South Africa in his profile. He wasn't the only keeper named in the squad, but Reece Young was dropped and I am hearing that Krugar van Wyk is the guy likely to take the gloves. Jon Wright has suggested that Krugar will definitely play for New Zealand in the test but BJ Walting is a chance to get the gloves depending on how he goes in the tour match. Both will play in the tour match van Wyk will open the batting and Walting will have the gloves there with "a chance to prove himself with the gloves" (Wright).
Anywho, Kiwi squad for this test is as follows:
Ross Taylor (captain), Trent Boult, Doug Bracewell, Dean Brownlie, Martin Guptill, Chris Martin, Brendon McCullum, Tim Southee, Daniel Vettori, Kruger van Wyk (keeper), BJ Watling (keeper) , Kane Williamson.
