Probably got them from Big League.

I felt dirty researching the 20's and drawing conclusions from stats. It's not how I operate.

yeah pete some from his big league article this week, some from wiki and some from nrl stats game by game.. i agree that u20 stats are a bit inaccurate but having followed this team very closely for 4 yrs mpw has been a standout in most games this year,, as coach woolf says in the article he has been the rock of our u20s in 2011

Rd5 - 24 runs for 327 metres, 14 tackle breaks, 7 offloads, 2 linebreaks, 1 try
Rd6 - 16 runs for 201 metres, 11 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 2 linebreaks, 2 tries
Rd7 - 16 runs for 132 metres, 8 tackle breaks, 0 offloads, 1 try assist
Rd8 - 18 runs for 202 metres, 9 tackle breaks, 2 offloads, 2 linebreaks
Rd9 - 15 runs for 194 metres, 9 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 1 linebreak
Rd10 - 13 runs for 211 metres, 15 tackle breaks, 4 offloads, 1 linebreak, 1 try assist
Rd11 - 19 runs for 242 metres, 16 tackle breaks, 1 offload, 1 linebreak, 2 tries
Rd12 - BYE
Rd13 - 12 runs for 184 metres, 18 tackle breaks, 4 offloads, 2 linebreaks, 1 try, 1 try assist
Rd14 - 18 runs for 232 metres, 15 tackle breaks, 1 offload, 2 linebreaks, 1 try
Rd15 - 10 runs for 117 metres, 10 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 2 linebreaks, 1 try
Rd16 - 18 runs for 211 metres, 12 tackle breaks, 2 offloads, 2 linebreaks, 2 try assists
Rd17 - BYE
Rd18 - 16 runs for 198 metres, 20 tackle breaks, 2 offloads, 2 linebreaks

Hands down, has to be the best centre in the competition. 12 games, 8 tries, 19 linebreaks, 5 try assists, and a MASSIVE amount of tackle breaks (I think even more than noted tacklebreakers of past years like Byron Fruean, Siuatonga Likiliki, Moses Pangai).

Slade Griffen, 100m+ and 30+ tackles every game from hooker. Jarome Wilson making a case for a prop spot lately.

Think you have to throw 2 young blokes in the mix. David Nofoaluma and Tautau Moga. Both 17 year olds just up from SG Ball and Australian Schoolboys last year. Although they have only played 6 and 7 games respectively both have impressive stats and are held in high regard. Looked and tackle breaks and tries for all, the top contenders for wing/centre with these result:

Tackle breaks/runs

David Nofoaluma 67/80 = 0.838
Konrad Hurrell 157/195 = 0.805
Tim Lafai 63/85 = 0.741
Tautau Moga 50/70 = 0.714
Moses Pangai 90/183 = 0.491
Mahe Fonua 77/181 = 0.425
Stewart Mills 54/130 = 0.415

Tries/games
Tautau Moga 8/7 = 1.14
Mahe Fonua 12/13 = 0.923
David Nofoaluma 5/6 = 0.833
Stewart Mills 9/11 = 0.818
Konrad Hurrell 9/12 = 0.75
Tim Lafai 6/9 = 0.66
Moses Pangai 10/16 = 0.625

Out of interest, how do you guys rate the young Louisi for warriors as a player? Im surprise to see he hasnt been mentioned. The kid is a man mountain and always seems to go good when ive caught games but maybe his workrate and stats arent great? He must be the biggest in the 20s

He is a very good player but still has a long way to go. I hope he sticks with the club.

we have a very good team as a whole, individually I think we had better players last year.

The Storm is a very good team.

A lot of them sideways...

But seriously, he's a goer although Storm shut him down quite effectively on the 2nd occasion (even though they lost the game) until the warriors changed tack & ran it up a different channel. he will either be found out or be a good player at the next level - not ready yet - be interesting to see

Will Chad townsend and Sam Williams get looked at? They have played most of the year in 1sts

Gee, the NRL side could do with a good center!

Matt McGahan doing what Id said he'd do and really starting to dominate the last part of the season and Tohu Harris showing why he's the best backrow prospect in the NYC. Shame he missed so much football or else he'd be up for POTY.

I reckon Tyrone Peachey will be there and there abouts for the player of the year.
