We performed similarly under both Jack Gibson in 87 and Alan Fitzgibbon in 1990.

Yep spot on - whilst I have no sympathy for the drags - won't be the first or last year to fade hard - comp pretty close nowadays

With the exception of a few I think Big Jack had it about right when it came to Coaching the top grade. What was his policy. 3 years at one club was long enough

Are we the next side this will happen to? Only time will tell but with all these old heads leaving Flanno will need to dig deep to evolve

I think Flanno is doing that from our 17 in GF last year Barba, Ennis gone that leaves 15

End of this year add Bird, Beale, Taga, Heigno at least down to 11, so he is refeshing already.

And hopefully this crop of youngsters coming through will make transition easier

I dont think you can have 2 flannos at the club.
If Kyle comes on to first grade standard....perceived bias could rip a club apart from disgruntled guys who cant make first grade.

Which then leads to the coach marking his son harder than he should to escape any such claims.
