In todays Herald Sun they say Orford may make his decision before the game, but that it could hinge on what Ben Ross does. Considering Ross has said he won't make a decision until after this weeks game, that would make a 12 o'clock announcement unlikely. Hopefully he does though so this whole saga is over

Its just a bit of a sh*t that Penrith have the Friday night game...we were expecting a decision today from Ross so hopefully he makes one BEFORE the game against the doggies kicks off.

The Sharkies are quiely confident of getting Ben as well from what I've read bt I think he'll come here. Orford has as good a chance as any of winning a premiership no matter where he goes because he will be playing behind a top notch pack either way:

Melbourne- Ross (TBA), Smith, Crocker, Kidwell, Hoffman, Johnson

Manly- Kennedy, Watmough, Kite

But Of couse i hope Ross comes here and Orford stays for at leat another 3 years but 4 would be even better!

I'd give the (C) to Smithy...he is the player from Storm's younger crop that will display absolute loyalty to our club. Rumour has it that he is going to sign a contract extension Smith must be captain...hes already been considered a future QLD captain FFS!
