No prizes for winning a semi-final, he choked again a week later when it really counted. I can't believe he actually gets a gig with a top NRL club after 9 years of continual f**k ups.

Manly are kidding themselves if they think they can win a comp with their halves. The fight for the title is between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane IMO.

Manly and Melbourne would've both accounted for the Roosters and Brisbane comfortably. 14+

What a crock of sh*t. Manly don't scare me at all. When they came to Suncorp earlier in the year we were all over them like a rash with no Lockyer and several others out until we lost our cool in the second half. With Brisbane at full strength, Manly don't worry me at all. Melbourne and the Roosters do...

If he had a F/E with him last nights game would have been totally different.
Two kicking options are better than one. Storm knew he was the only kicker, and he was pressured.

Didnt stop the knights winning in 2001. Rudder was the 5/8 and he was just a stop gap.
Orford needed to step and take control. Thats what the big time halfbacks have done over the years, but then Orford keeps proving his not a big time halfback.
I still laugh when he complained about being over looked for origin.

Haha, all over us. Two arsey tries off kicks, one which should've been disallowed. We were playing with you, toying with you if you will, then when we decided to lift we did, and we ran away with it. The second half was like a training session.

Lol you wish MSIH. At full strength with Hunt, Hodges, Lockyer, Wallace and Ennis all on board, I'd put everything I own on us beating Manly. Particularly in a big game when those players mentioned actually step up as opposed to that pretender in your number 7.

Dwarford's kicking game was rubbish,
continuous bombs that just got caught by Melb, i think the time he grubbered (and didn't fall over it) they got a drop out, shoulda kept them low as the high balls got them nothing but 20mtrs back up the field

He definately has a huge deficiency in his game when it comes to the big occasions. I think its fair to say Orford's kicking game lost it for them last night.

They were more dominant in the middle and dominated possession and field position. Phil Gould made an interesting point last night. He thinks orford might be thinking to much and confusing himself.

I think manly can win it with him as halfback, he just needs to play more decisive footy.
Same thoughts, If Orford can just get a good game together they can win.

Bombing Storm does not work...Stewart almosyt scored but that was only from a Slater error and not really any Manly player challenging in the air.

That said Orford had a poor game, but give the guy a chance ffs he was playing against arguably the best defense and had to carry Beaver at 5/8.

I'm not too sure they allow do overs in the finals....

Perhaps Orford needs to learn how to take the chances when he gets them instead??

Hunt is...he is much safer and it is why he was selected ahead of slater in origin one and two

And suprise suprise...we won those games. Not putting alllllll down to Hunt, but he was bloody good for QLD and the results speak for themselves

Hunt is also prone to miss tackles... sh*t attempt in the warriors game just then, credit to the player for the run though..

Hunt is worse than slater defensively. He just missed an easy tackle on Ropati and thats not the first one i've seen him miss. The reason we went so well in origin 2 was because Hunt wasn't in the 6. We struggled in three because he was forced back there.
