Matty Orford is well beyond his use by date, but one thing is for certain he would have kicked the tripe out of the ball on the 5th tackle with three minutes on the clock and that whats Sheens wants, a player that will make the right call in big matches and at present we have two great players in Farah and Marshall but both are unreliable in big matches when the big plays are on. They win you plenty of games, but seldom against class sides in big games. I may sound a bit hard, but they need a old fashion type of player around them to take control when the game is in the balance. Now not for one minute Iam not saying Orford is the man but that is what Sheens is looking for and I dont blame him.

We get lost in so many games because we dont have a clever no7

I must be the only one in Australia prepared to forgive him for his stint in Canberra. I'd take a chance at the right price....although that condemns Moltzen to fullback.

I'd love to see how good our team could be with a general in the number 7.

If he does nt demand too much coin and he is willing to pass a good ftness test . Maybe you would consider him but even then I am not sure

WestsTigers do not have a good track record in having players with injury clouds pass fitness tests before signing contracts eg Cayless & Topou.

What mistake???

There were suggestions Orford was spoken about internally, how would Mimis know if it was spoken about "internally?" All I said was there were chinese whispers going around I didnt say Tigers approached Orford.
No.

The article itself states that the Tigers have not spoken about him internally, or to his manager. The Manager of Orford confirmed he had not heard from the Tigers.

There are no chinese whispers. There's no talk at all.

read the article again.

The club can probably do without fickle fans such as you anyway.

I'd still be a supporter if they signed Sandow and Hodges with Hopoate as assistant coach.
I hate this attitude - that supporters should be mindless sheep who turn up no matter what dumb decisions a club makes. I was a huge Balmain supporter in the '80s - had season tickets at Leicchardt, kept cheering them through the '88 and '89 grand final losses. A very good team and club in those days. I completely went off them when they made Alan Jones coach & he started getting rid of players like Gary Freeman & replacing him with some good looking blonde rugby boy.

Yeah I'm so fickle I spend my hard earned every year for a gold membership, buy hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise every year and attend a good 70 per cent of away games.

Take the "you're a shit supporter attitude" and shove it up your f**king arse.
