Best get those wagons in a circle.

Roy Masters in the SMH also had interesting words about the Coach. He seems to have a very good contact.
That is good news for you then. You can continue to death ride the game whilst cheering on the Daily Telecrap all the way.

Happy days:crazy:

Wonder if that email is accurate? Seems pretty fishy to me tbh. Looked like someone was trying to hit as many trigger points as possible (throwing in some stuff about Actovegin, growth hormone, etc) wouldn't surprise me if it was mostly or entirely made up.

Either way terrible look for the club.

the email can be easily verified on a server. so take it as true email.

does not look good for everyone involved,,, the coach especially

Question: how are the DT getting these emails???? (e.g. Dr Givney) I don't understand

Also, be interesting to know who that "rival NRL club staff member" is and whether or not they will be facing questioning over the allegations.

It's called leaks. This is a massive issue involving multiple organisations. From the clubs to ASADA to the ACC to the NRL itself. If the papers have a single friend in any of those it would be very easy to get certain documents to them.

It's the way any story breaks.

Ok, if they are leaks:

1) Where are they coming from?

2) What benefit would it be of whoever it is to leak them?

What worries me if they are so underhanded that they rely on leaks, how do we know the email is genuine ?

Wouldn't be the first beat up that a journo came up with to sell chip wrappers

Those guys hide behind their right to never disclose their source so how will anyone ever know if its genuine ?

GIven the old board just got booted out, and that Cronulla were running on a skeleton staff for so long, I wouldn't be surprised if it's someone who had access to that stuff and decided it needed to see the light of day.

I doubt that anyone still affiliated with the club would leak it knowing the pandora's box it might open.

It's likely a disgruntled ex-employee who already had a copy or had the ability to access a copy as revenge - or - the leak is on ASADA side. Or even scarier, News Limited may be intercepting emails again...

If it's an ex-employee it would be unlikely to be anyone who had a long term affiliation to the club as loyalty is still a code of honour in club land.

Regardless, the Sharks made their first mistake by hiring an ex-ASADA official to conduct the independent review.

It is in effect akin to a defendent hiring a former employee of their current prosecutor. Some might say that she should be professional enough to bring a genuine unbiased approach to any investigation but there will always be a loyalty to the organisation that she helped foster and believed in.

Wasn't there a story already on the other clubs staff member. The Manly doc

I've been off-line for a few weeks and it is the same old, same old.

One question - why did Dr Givney get sacked, he seemed to be the only one making an issue re: Dank and the supplement program?

They're regurgitating old news, albeit with an (alleged) email. This whole thing was known on the day that the Sharks held their presser and announced the sacking of the support staff.
