Maybe you're the one who is thick. In the ABC article I linked too on my earlier post a Sharks spokesperson said he was never employed by the Sharks or paid any money by them. But he wouldn't be doing it for free so someone had to pay him and also invite him into the sheds wearing official Sharks clothing

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-03-12/dank-never-received-money-from-us-sharks/4566938

A spokesman for the crisis-hit Cronulla Sharks says the controversial sports scientist Stephen Dank never received any money from the NRL club.

Dank spent five months associated with the Sharks but the club says its board only learnt several weeks ago of Dank's link with the club.

The club says Dank was not employed or ever paid by the Sharks, meaning there were no invoices to indicate his presence.

Your ignoring the part where they said he wasn't employed or paid by them. Which then led to my question of who was paying him because he wouldn't do it for free

Bourbs, Hooper and Massoud fail again

I note with amusement that this article was written by those 3 and that none of you mentioned it

Obviously Wilson is worse than Hitler when she is criticising the NRL, but a bastion of truth when criticising AFL.

he was employed at the time the photos were taken

you are as thick as Julia

He wasn't employed FFS!

I know that. You know that. Maggie doesn't. Funny to watch though.

Ok Hillbilly, I will make it simple for the two headed islander.

The two major newspapers reported that a deal was offered to the Cronulla players to accept diminished suspensions; Gallen states there was no such offer.

So, who is lying?

reporters making mistakes or getting incorrect information? couldn't ever happen with an investigation that has been as rock solid and organized as this ASADA investigation :sarcasm:

this joke of an investigation has been a handled very badly from the announcement and even you Magie would be hard pressed to argue that point.

I agree that something smells with Dank/Sharks/Bombers and if true I hope players from both teams spend time on the sideline and some heavy finds are dispensed to the club. if not true and ASADA have stuffed the investigation I foresee a lot of deformation cases coming out of this.

Don't know if it is a joke of investigation, but the legal people have made it difficult (especially Cronulla's side); that will change come August 1.

it is "defamation"; but I understood

Listen f**kwit, you claim that Master's broke the story about Cronulla's players being offered a deal by ASADA weeks ago (with ASADA's counsel quitting due to the deal differing from Essendon). Remember that goose.

But, Gallen has denied any deal being offered. Please explain that, you goose.

Gallen himself stated on the big breakfast show (or what ever its called) that indeed it was discussed. That they were offered 6months, would still be paid, blah, blah blah. He stated that they considered it, but on basis that they didn't have a clue what they were suppose to have done wrong and still doesn't believe they have. He said he hadn't read that drivel in the Tele ( not his words) but would be checking it out.

I think from memory he said that then the deal with Essendon came out.

Not happy as he insists they as players did nothing wrong.

Now it may be naive or some might consider stupid, but if your club is giving the players supplements, players follow instructions.

Am over all this shit, just give our guys and Essendon 6 months and let the worlds of footy get on with it.
