So when do we find out about the organised crime bit?

The way the sharks administration has screwed it's fans is criminal. No sure how organised it is though.

not sure how well "Sharks" as a brand would go down here given the number of the big buggers that keep eating people! lol.

No way NRL will let them go under, if it is money issue they will give a loan or something I am sure. For all the talk of relocation, too many teams etc I see no indication, in fact quite the opposite, that the NRL has any intentions of seeing teams go under or move any time soon.

Will take a fair few years for Cronulla to recover reputation etc but the development comes at a good time to see them financially survive the fall out and the fans will stick by them I am sure.

You'd think so, but given we had an AFL player admit on national television that he was knowingly injected with an S0 banned substance dozens of times then continue to play without sanction who the f**k knows anymore.

I mean seriously it seems like there are going to be a half dozen sharks players taken down by this, and god knows how many bombers players. The NRL and AFL should have just bit the bullet and banned these idiots back in february when they found out about it, which it looked like the NRL was willing to do till the AFL started trying to weasel their way out of it and the NRL followed suit

At least one loophole has allowed the legal sale by criminals to athletes of performance-enhancing drugs but the ACC made specific claims about players selling illicit drugs and doctors writing illegal scripts.

A spokeswoman for the ACC said last night she expected police investigations could still take place but The Australian reports today that the ACC did not gather any new information about organised crime or doping in sport through its own phone taps. And Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Ken Lay has backed comments by other state forces that the ACC investigation has not provided any basis for a criminal investigation.
