wish the ARLC had gone through with bans last year as mooted

apparently News Ltd had threatened to respond by giving all their attention to AFL.

For the life of me, I can't understand why TV shows employ the likes of Hooper, Wilson & Paul merkin on their rugby league shows.

It is getting alarmingly prevalent.

Don't they realise we hate these people & it actually causes us to turn off.

Sat down on Sunday morning to watch the footy show but only watched when Hooper was moved out of the chair. f**k him!

hooper on back last year was really enjoying the Asada thing, he had a smirk on his face every week as he was saying the story had a long way to run.

compare that to how these AFL guys are devastated their code has been implicated.

i remember he said the NRL would get nowhere near 1 billion for its TV deal

then sometime last year in an article where he was bagging dave smith he mentioned that getting 1.2 billion was no big deal as they had multiple stations bidding

he is good on NRL 360 though

has no clue what the average fan thinks

making out RL is the only sport that has players that suffer head injuries is one way news ltd are doing this atm

they are killing the game's brand

as ED says it hurts sponsorships. it does turn away neutral fans who might want to go but get turned off by the negativity

it makes the ARLCs job of growing the game much harder
