To be fair, if Sharks played it the way Essendon did, it would've hurt much more.

Sure everyone was duped by Danks, but we were smart enough to cop it and move on.

Not sure if it was stupidity or arrogance on Essendon's part.

To put in perspective, they finished last last year.

Definitely arrogance.

Spot on. Hird and Essendon just had to take responsibility from the get go and say "yep we made a mistake and f**ked up" and cop their sack and got on with it and all the bullshit would of been avoided.

Well played Cronulla.

Three part question for any Sharkies fans out there. 1) did any of you go mental due to the drug saga; 2) did the drug saga directly impact relationship breakdown; and 3) did the premiership restore your sanity and/or any broken relationships?

The only impact it had on me was I have t bought a daily telegraph since feb 7 2013. I think u will find that is the "darkest day in sport" day

Day after day seeing the Sharks in the news on all forms of media, made me almost immune. To the point of what crap,is going to be on the news the next day.You could set your clock by it.
What's Dank going to say next. Will Bourbon and the loose cannons at the Telegrcrap print more bile about players. Will the Offisders AFL mob cream themselves hoping for a Shark's implosion.
After hearing Gal's name (passing shot at drugs)mentioned at the funeral by Hartigan ,thought to myself heard it all before .Media grubs will never change colours.

Life went on, still followed the club ,and applauded the players for doing their job.
The Sharks paid the fines ,the players had their names dragged through the mud and we won a Premiership in 2016.
If you follow the Sharks for ages, the very term " sh*t happens" was coined with the Sharks in mind.Hell we have nearly had the door closed on 3 occasions. We had bubbles Carney and dopey G Bird costing the club sponsors.
Now we got a development up and running, the sun still rose the next day.

Whereas the Bumbers wanted to carry on for ages with legal threats ,and still won't let it go away.Keep the stench going the dumbos.

Meantime Gal is involved in the 2017 NRL launch, that says something.Rugby league people move on,fumbleballers can't accept the umpire's verdict.

Ok...so I was devastated when Souths were excluded from the comp.

And I marched, signed petitions, went to charity games, etc etc.

But FMD. This lot are completely f***ing beyond beyond.

Ya see here's the thing-uhh.

There's nothing wrong with getting on the juice-uhh.

Sometimes a man's got to look in the mirror and decide. Do I want to be a vanilla midget? Or do I want to be a real man with traps and lats?

Paul Gallen's a man among men-uhh. He could made it in the business. There's plenty of squirrel grips to be had when you play the Game-uhh.
