I don't mind it. You get to see some young blokes make their debut, maybe go out after work with colleagues for one of the three games, brings a few teams back to the pack who have a Salary Cap magical wand, etc.

Only issue I have is the late start-time but nothing a strong cup of coffee can't fix.

There is no need for an 8pm KO time on Thursdays which would be better served on an earlier weekend day

I was looking forward to catching up with some mates for a beer this afternoon, having a few bets and watching a footy game..,

Then I saw that the game was Titans v Cows...

I guess the only thing worse would be to have no game at all which is what the OP is proposing..

I mean there would be origin, the EPL survives when they have rep weekends I’m not sure why it’s such a big deal for NRL.
