People suggesting a 9s or similar while SOO is on. Will clubs like their players playing in a mickey mouse type event and potentially getting injured when the focus is to win the premiership? Imagine Tedesco or Moses don't get selected for SOO or a key player not eligible for SOO, they play in the 9s and get injured. Maybe I am wrong, but I can already see the uproar from clubs and fans impacted if they lose a key player this way. I get you can also get injured playing g SOO but that is rep football which we need. Also, with players asked to play 9s, will they be paid extra given the extra games? Does it go in the cap? Will clubs rort it by paying a player extra under the guise that they are playing 9s but conveniently that player is injured and can't play and they replace them with a nobody?
