f**k, anyone watching the Bills game? Demar Hamlin in serious trouble. Hope he makes it
Pretty scarey, feels like he could be on life support as it drags on. I assume they need a condition update to play

Yeah. Not sure what's happened. Seemed a regulation tackle, he got straight to his feet after then shortly after he's surrounded by medics.
All I can do is wish him the best getting through this.

Very sad news. I felt numb watching it, and plsying was the furthest thing from my mind.
Still no word of recovery etc or he will be ok. But this is quite scary.

ps anyone that wanted the game to continue after it happened hopefully something like this happens to you.

They seem to think cardiac arrest. I have no idea, but everything about the incident was so awkward. The way he suddenly fell to the ground, Josh Allen looked like he was hyper ventilating, it is just scary and I sm still quite gutted by it. It didn’t have to be a bills player, but the teams were just gutted and in a state of severe shock

Another angle shows the impact better than the one shown on the game. Hate to say it but the Phil Hughes incident comes to mind a bit when watching that replay. The way he got straight to his feet then suddenly dropped is eerily similar to Phil Hughes. I'd imagine the medico's would be aware of that which is why they rushed straight out there when he dropped.
Obviously hoping it's different enough to for a much better outcome.

No further details that I've read. But yeah, when it's life and death no one wants to keep playing football and that was apparent from the players reaction that all they were thinking of was the player, not continuing the game.

I agree I thought Phil Hughes too. But Hughes was hit in the head, the tackle was such a routine tackle that if anything was quite soft considering the hits you see in the nfl. This is why it is so scary.

This has knocked the crap out of me, when it happened I wasn’t thinking about the game , or anything just whether he will be ok. If bill’s forfeit the season I get it. Not concerned I just don’t want a young player to die on the field. Don’t want it in any sport.

Well it seems odd a fit and healthy person has a heart attack.

Hopefully he is ok now. Is there any updates?
Maybe so but as I said who cares, I just want news as to his status, that is something you might speculate after we find out whether he will live or be able to have a normal life. Regardless the guys career is over just like that. Just think how in a moment of seconds you’d life changes, and apply how it can happen to yours. Ps I am a father and if something like this happened to my child I couldn’t live with myself

A bit like the Christian Eriksen saga as well. He also just played in the WC.

The 30-year-old will be the first top-flight player fitted with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), which can reset the heart after a cardiac arrest. "I was gone from this world for five minutes," Eriksen told the BBC in an interview this month.

They seem to think Jordan Love will be ready next season, but f**k me he's only 24 which is ridiculously young for a QB

Jalen Hurts isn24 and one of the best. Mahomes at 24 was a weapon. Indont see 24 as young.

I had the same discussion with a mate on Sunday night, he mentioned Mahomes and one other

2 out of the whole NFL is f**k all and most mature at 30 or more

Also I wouldn't mention Mahomes and Love in the same sentence, one has already reached the heights and one is a reserve QB

Yes but if he is going to be good enough he would be ready now and will need game time. He may be a bust

he played well for half a game, forget who it was but the game ended our losing streak about 4/5 games ago, Rogers went off at half time

Love played really well but I wouldn't judge him by one good game

I guess if we hook Rogers we will suffer in the short term, but it will have to be done soon as he's nearly 40
