Purdy is human after all.
Still, he was not helped by an o-line which just collapsed around him. No running lanes opening up and pass rushers getting through with ease. McKivitz is hopeless.

So many penalties in this game. Just an insane number of them. Massive lack of discipline which began before kickoff when Deebo and Trent Williams decided to act like dickheads and taunt the Browns players by getting in their faces. How’d that work out for you guys? Stay humble dickheads.

Seriously hoping CMC, Deebo and Williams will be good to go for next week. Massive blow to our offense having those two receivers off the field, and Williams not at 100%.

Oh, and we used a 3rd round pick on a kicker who bombed his first chance to make a game-winning field goal.

Sure, he’s just a rookie, but we need someone reliable if we want to win the Superbowl.

At least the Eagles lost too, I guess.
I’ll have to watch that game. They must have not played very well to lose to the Jets.

I had this feeling both our sidesose this weekend. Unsure why. Hurt's had a shocker

I just read that it’s the first time the Jets have beaten Philadelphia.

Ever.

They’ve played 12 times over the last 50 years and Philly won them all, until today.

Lads, I don’t usually follow this thread, so I apologize if someone has mentioned this before, but Maxx Crosby, defensive end for the Raiders is a f**king beast. Watching the replay Raiders vs GB Packers. Is he always this good??

Yes.

He's a superstar, playing for a rabble.

I like these seasons where its open. Much better then when you had Patriots or Denver or Seatle so dominant drop day dot.
I think its very hard to predict any side right now. Jaguars are warming up and if Chargers win today they are back on.

What are your thoughts on the Lions.

With Detroit you just keep waiting for them to fail like they always do.

They seem well balanced.

I think they are a bit of a sleeper in the NFC.

Before the season started the Lions were talked up a bit (not massively, but just as a team to watch). They finished last season pretty well, and have a good team.

I don’t see them winning the Super Bowl, but if they make it to the NFCCG I wouldn’t be surprised.

Been a few of those over the years.
Calvin Johnson for instance. One of the greatest ever careers wasted by playing in Detroit.

Yep.

And the Raiders know this all too well:

Khalil Mack
Randy Moss (what a colossal waste of time that was)
Antonio Brown (though you can't really blame him)
Warren Sapp

We love under-achieving despite having star players.

At least those players got to show off their abilities and win some games (and Superbowls for a couple of them) for other teams.

Doesn't pay to be loyal these days…unless you’re on a winning team.

The Raiders are a colossally inept club, and have been for 20 years.

It's depressing.
