Without the obvious-Anyone here predict a team that may suprise next year?

Looking at the groups

1 - i think Bills/Miami will close the gap again on NE.Gee i hope use find a QB ron.

2 - Steelers get better.Bengals drop off

3- Texans close gap on colts but colts still win group

4- Most intresting group- Oakland for me the big improvers as the rest all decline.Not sure if Oakland will improve enough to make an impression but i like them to win 8 games

5-Dallas - Wins group -Unless phili get a qb. Giant should improve too

6-I dont realy want to comment on this group but i lean too Falcons.I like Ryan and think they can get better.

7-Greenbay-Minesota might take detroits spot thou

8-Seatle easily-St louis to be the bolters.

Bills will win the division next year if they can get a servicable QB, there D was already top 3 before rex, it expect it to be number 1 under rex who is without doubt the best d coach in the league

what was Philli thinking!! dont get me wrong, sad to see Kiko gone as he was one of my fav bills, however lets see what was traded here:

Kiko - started of as rookie from rounds 1-7 amazing, then he didn't do much after whilst still good didn't record 1 sack or interception after round 5. Kiko has great anticipation and speed in coverage, but was not very good against the run. Also, Kiko is coming of his 2nd, yes 2nd knee reconstruction in the space of 4 years, not a good sign, and reports are he has lost a step. In summary i think he can come back and be a very good player, but i just have the gut feeling he wont be elite of the elite, more in the london fletcher mould best case scenario.

Mccoy, well a proven superstar, only 26, top 3 in yards in the game rushing in past 5 years, the guy is a proven gun year after year in rushing and receiving, a genuine gun. He, Watins and woods are going to be dynamic next year in our attack, just an amazing player.

We win this trade easily, Phili had salary cap issues which from reports lead to this trade.

Also, Bills have a furtheer 40 mill under the sleees this off season, Bills are serious contenders next year, no joes about it

Yeh it seems strange, but last year was not McCoy's greatest (maybe Chip had something to do with that though). Interesting to see how it plays out. Was it a blip, or the start of a gradual easing off?

something wasn't right last year, chip and he dont get along, but didn't mccoy still have 1300 yards last year? chip is becoming too arrogant for his own good, this is a horrible trade for them.

I had to look at the info 10 times to make sure i was seeing things right and the eagles wanted draft picks too?

carr and mack look lie quality, they are a side on the rise imo if they can get a suh this offseason

- Phili dont have cap problems.They have 50 Million to play with.And chip is going for free agents.

- Only 1 team in last ten years have won the Superbowl with an expensive RB (seattle)
- Use dont have a first rnd pick-So this is a great trade for use.Use can parade rnd Mcoy as star.

- Apparently the draft is full of plenty of good RB's and reason why Chip went for trade.

- Chips is in love with oregon players and isnt this guy from oregon?

- Patriots coach builds a strong team with strong QB and offensive line and cheap RB's

- Chip believes that RB is not that important a position and there are cheaper options who can do a great chop-He also prefers the bash and barge type not the dancing rnd of Mcoy.


I will say this- Mcoy once gets some space is the best RB is comp.If your offensive line can give him room and space he will be the best RB in comp next year-Hope use go well!

Yes raiders are a tough team,At home they never lost easily and end of season started winning.There also in a divison where denver are on decline along with the chargers.
I reckon Kansas will win division next year.

Chip is a genius or a nut job-Time will tell.

He firmly believes he has a system in his head taht he wants , and what he needs too build a team. A Strong offensive line-Quater back and rest falls in place.
You don't win things by playing safe thou.And Chips taking a different approach. Maybe building a team properly. I don't know.

He does want his own team thou, and he is putting some excitement into the NFL IMO as far as coaches go rather than playing it safe.

If he goes all out for Mariota and gives up some first round picks he is really jumping into the deep end. He will sink or swim very fast!!!

i dont trust gimmiick coaches, chip was outcoached by every good side he came up against last year, he gets figured out, but shines against lesser sides.

I reckon foles will be a bill too, and there will be more to this trade..

McCoy's production slipped significantly this season with the absence of players like Mathis, Kelce and Johnson. Phili boasts one of the best O lines in the game and the reason McCoy had a career year in 2013 is due to the fact that all 5 o line players started every game. Without a good O line McCoy will struggle.

All good points. I have only followed nfl for 3 years and this was the first I watched 3-4 games a week and starting to really understand how a team works.

I mean QB is important but than without a good O line look at ELI. He is good enough to win superbowl but terrible without a decent line infront of him.
Brady is something special, but he has had a good team too.

You make good points about chip being out coached, but does he have a good side?
He took the same team from a 4-12 record too a 10-6 - twice.With an average QB.Average defense.
Im not saying your wrong about chip thou.He sounds a little eratic.Maybe crazy .But im willing to give him a chance considering whats he done so far with the team he has. I wasn't happy when he cut Lesean Jackson either and although not in same class - Maclin and Matthews have shined.

Yeh, the problem is that operating a 'no dickheads' policy in the NFL would mean that no team could fill their roster, and the Phillies probably wouldn't have a coach.

Funny most USA reporters are saying its a good move for both teams. I wont judge the trade till I see the replacement.
We didn't really trade Mcoy for Kiko. Chip was going to cut mcoy cause of the 12 mill tag. When bills came and offered kiko as well they jumped. So they have Kiko and 10 mill spare on top of the 40 mill they have close to 50 mill to pend.
I don't know NFL salarys etc that well but some say for 7 you can get a high profile RB.......
