I was like that when Cronulla, Cowboys and Souths won their recent GFs.
Now I don't give a shit as much. Especially in the NFL. There's so many teams who have massive droughts over there (mine included). So hard to win a SB.

Unless you go out to win it at all costs, possibly sacrificing future success e.g. Rams 2022. This year was their first Rd1 pick (Jared Verse) since 2016 (Jared Goff). They traded 6 years worth of Rd1 picks to eventually win the SB.

Their return to the LA market and a new stadium etc made it all worthwhile (even though their fans are sometimes outnumbered at Home games, yikes!!!).

Game was pure dross but Miami got the job done.

Its quite remarkable they are still in the playoff hunt after there shocking start.

I agree about the Bengals though.

Bills probably wouldn't want to play them in wild card week.

Burrow has been clutch in playoffs while the Bills have the baggage and ghosts of the past still possibly haunting them.

College football they play special teams for real. The Irish have had 6 punt/kick blocks this season and multiple trick punt plays.

Chances of a trick play coming off are way higher in college, so you're likely to see it more.
It happens in the NFL, but maybe once every few weeks.

We need much, much more than just a number one pick.

Our entire defence is trash - Maxx Crosby is the only player you'd feed, and how long until he's fed up, and looks elsewhere?

Our offensive line is slow, uncoordinated, overpaid, and lazy - their inability to protect the run led to Josh Jacobs jumping ship to the Cheeseheads.

We have a young team, but nobody willing to put the hard work onto improving their game, and our coaching team certainly aren't up to doing that.

The place stinks from the top, to be honest.
