One thing about the 12 team play offs in college football (and how those 12 are selected) is that it makes you much more interested in the other games going on involving teams you wouldn't usually care about involving the likes of Texas Tech (middle of nowhere Texas) and BYU (a school of morman kids), Indiana (usually a basketball school) and Ole Miss, (a Uni in Mississippi (('The Blind Side' movie big fella went there)).

How did the Mormons go? Don't they have to be in bed by like 8pm. What if there is a night game?

They go well actually. Probably a top 15 type program. Made the play offs last year. In line to make it again this year. The players do a mission out of high school and thus start their college football careers a year later than others. Apart from that and probably not pounding cheer leaders I don’t know of other restrictions.

The Raiders should be blown up.

What a terrible organisation.

It's actually a great group. Denvers D can take them places. Raiders need to tank and hope to get a QB in draft. This 7th or 8th pick in draft is not what is needed. Or get lucky like Phili with Hurts in 2nd rnd

A competent QB will help, but we've got huge issues all over the field:

- terrible offensive linesmen
- terrible linebackers
- terrible wideouts

Jeanty was a good start, but what's the bet we trade him in 2 years' time?

We are already talking about trading away Maxx Crosby...

Until Bowl Cut calls it a day, this organisation - despite its global popularity - will continue to be a laughingstock.

See Miles Garrett has had 10 sacks in his last 3 games with half a quarter left to play. That's not bad.
Hayne 09 esk.
This is the type of thing I love about American Football and that it has over every other football code. Defense is exciting as hell. Arguably more exciting than attack.
A fan of all the other football codes basically just endures defense.
This Garrett fella possibly hasn't even actually touched the football in those 3 games but he would be the player of the month or whatever. Fascinating.

KC in trouble? They haven’t been in this position for a very long time. Must be hard for their fans having had silica a long time being an also-ran team, fighting to make the playoffs every few years, then becoming a juggernaut that rarely loses…only to go back to fighting for a playoff spot again.

Eagles humming along. They are not an exciting team at the moment but they get wins. Will they be good enough to be there in the SB again? Considering there’s not many other teams who are putting their hands up to get there (TB possibly) then they look to be in the box seat right now.

Niners got another win. Against the Cards which isn’t exactly hard, but got to take them when you can.

Purdy came back and looked pretty good. Was lucky not to be picked off a couple of times but put on three TDs and some nice throws throughout the game. Pearsall back is good but he didn’t do much.

George Kittle is the best TE in the game. You can’t change my mind.
