Isn't it great?
Brilliant spectacle.
Is it covered in Australia? Can't see it in any of the sports pages.
Hopefully this is the year we get payback - though it irks me Dalton is still there drawing his $2M a year salary.

I'm glad we smashed that prick from England, Ainsley.

I really hope we don't go too hard tomorrow v Oracle..we're already in the semis and I wouldn't be showing Spithall a thing..

Crucial factor though, is that the winner of this round robin, forces the other team to start off on -1 in the Americas Cup series

Nothing on FTA yet but once they start racing for the cup I am sure there will be.

Major blow this morning not being able to get a round robin win in against Spit boy. He definitely seems to have a mental edge against TNZ crew

Don't forget.
Sunday morning the gloves come off.
Can a bunch of Kiwi boys beat a bunch of lawers and hired flunkeys?
Damn right we can!
Go Team New Zealand.
Now where did I put my red socks?

I don't want to put any Warriors-esque hoodoo on things but has this five-day break come at exactly the wrong time?

I don't think 5 days is too much of an issue, it's not long enough for Oracle to dramatically improve their boat like they did last time. The bigger risk is that wind speeds pick up as they'll be competitive at 15 knots plus.

Just does nothing for my nerves.

"It's a great day for New Zealand sport, having won the America's Cup this morning..."

Unforgettable line from a Channel Nine commentator as he was broadcasting a Warriors v Cronulla game at Shark Park in '95. We won that, too!

I don't think winning the cup again will ever come close to that feeling of winning it the first time. It was like a national obsession.

Yep. I think there will be a good monkey off the back feeling if we nail it this time though.

I think there is a huge sense of unfinished business and I don't see much chance of Oracle asking TNZ if they can call a lay-day.
However with Oracle in a corner I can see a big chance of an "accidental" collision.
