I'm just blending in, here with my RBB bros.

Really looking forward to the flares/pyro, the tifo, and the poznan.

I think when we play the Saudis they play pure route 1. They'll be playing just not to lose. That's assuming they take all the points from Iraq

Japan up 3 zip against Thais, you'd think they'd be good enough to qualify from here but they probably have the toughest draw from here as well. Iran for Iraq, home to us and end in Saudi

I love international football... so much more exciting than the A-League club level stuff, and the damaging tribalism which unfortunately goes along with it.

I thought we were crap last night.
I'll take the 3 points though.
Ange has some serious soul searching to do.
Some really good players just aren't performing under his control.

I reckon this 3-2-4-1 formation will take time to yield results.

I think Australia possesses good wingers, and some creative attacking midfielders, but imo, our wing backs are being exposed regularly, and our CDM's are off the pace.

Mile Jedinak, in particular, seems to be struggling.

I think we'd benefit more from a 3-2-3-2 formation; Juric, imo, is doing a good job, but doesn't get much support up front.

On the plus side, Irvine, Smith, and Leckie continue to improve, and Troisi was outstanding.

But I think, right now, our only reliable back is Sainsbury.

Mate.....tbh..............I just don't think we cut the mustard atm.
We have just 3 or 4 international quality standard players.
Hardly good enough to qualify, let alone compete at the WC.

To be fair though, that's the case with all of Asian countries, 4 or less international standard players. Most of Africa and North America too. It'll be a long long time before a team outside of South America or Europe wins World Cup

Ronaldo has had a new Spanish Airport named after him.

The weird looking bust has a few tongues wagging.
