i hope those dastardly Sydney FC fans don't dress up WSW fans and let off flares at their games.

What a load sh*t but i'm sure if a flare is lit up this will be the WSW defence.

Yep. If you didn't have the protection of the mob you'd never get away with it.

Not at all.
Come on, you've got all the answers. Just one mate. Just 1 suggestion would suffice.

Suity

Here we go again. Round n round. It's your club's problem mate. No point expecting everyone else to solve it.

Your CEO should be a leader and make the hard decisions. Whatever they are, you have a board to decide what action to take. So far it's been 1) get the players to ask the RBB nicely not to do it any more. How's that going ?

I know noone wants to be a snitch, but it's not like none of the other 'supporters' didn't see or know who brought in at least one flare

I'm not, but you're claiming to have all the answers, yet you have come up with nothing. Repeatedly.

No, I'm claiming that your club are gutless. What are they doing about it ?

PS. Editing my quotes and selectively posting titbits shows you have no balls, like your board & CEO.

I think Suity has a point re: other venues, Gronk. I don't think that WSW can solve this problem alone and need other clubs and Gallop to pull their weight.

However, pointing the finger elsewhere rather than acknowledging the problem and trying to stop the bad behaviour of their fans at all venues isn't helpful.

It is everyone's problem - not WSW, Gallops or some other clubs. Everyone needs to work together to stamp it out rather than playing the blame game.

I think a precedent has been set now.

If flares are lit then all clubs should now face the same penalties that is the only way to deal with it.

Unfortunately i don't think Gallop has balls to enforce it.

Curious to see if they enforce it if say City fans do it

Force them to pay for the riot squad to attend every away venue.

I realise the merkins doing shit wont care. But eventually something will have to come to a crux. Club goes broke, club does more to identify the trouble makers.

Im sorry but there r people in the crowd who could identify the merkins ... sure there might only be a dozen actually doing it but there are several dozen encouraging it and egging it on. If they choose not to do something then their club suffers.

Completely agree.

Spineless FFA should have docked the points.

Would have made Wanderers fans (and if there are any non-thug elements in the RBB) turn against the perpetrators in the RBB midst, the ones that continue to cause all of the trouble.

Now with a suspended penalty we'll just have pointing fingers and excuses, rather than real action within this problem club, and within it's fanbase.

There's at least one common factor between the two teams that have suspended point penalties hanging over them. Suity follows both. But I guess, they're both also based at the same stadium. Coincidence, or conspiracy? Away you go Casper.

Oh Gronk? Seriously?
For a start, how are these things getting in in the first place?
I went to the game in Melbourne and I could have walked in with a dozen, such was the lax security.
Secondly, I would have closed the RBB end at Pirtek for minimum 3 games.
Thirdly, life bans.

Suity
I agree with your second and third options.

The/your club should volunatrily do these, without needing the FFA to force them. As you've said, WSW can't control the other venues, so there' no point deflecting blame (as you often seem to do), and putting off real action (and your club seems to have done).

The club should force the RBB to self police the thug elements out of attending footy all together. Using the schoolroom approach of "if you don't own up, then you're all on detention" seems entirely appropriate for the mentaility of the RBB.

Seriously, there's probably a dozen of these douche bags who continue to do this. They'll be weeded out eventually, and be replaced by another dozen douche bags.
Eventually is not good enough, and the blase acceptance that they will be replaced by others is also not good enough.

The club and other Wanderers fans shoudl have some balls, rather than glorify the RBB and use all of the same deflecting tactics that the thug elements of the RBB use to perpetuate excuses, blaming others and the myth of mistreatment, injustice etc etc. Wanderers fans with brains have to stop lapping that shit up, and regurgitating it in any forum (like this one).

what did the club do wrong to have points deducted ?
