Tool on Triple M said that they shouldn't take points off WSW fans using flares, cos how do you know if fans from rival clubs don't/won't dress up in WSW jumpers and light flares to get WSW in trouble.....

More likely that they'll dress up in flares and light WSW jumpers.

So is anyone fooled by the Wanderers' claims that it's non-RBB members causing the trouble at away games? Blind Freddy can see that it's simply the same RBB imbeciles acting up at the other venues!

This happens because the presence of the riot police (and other initiatives, such as member only entry to the RBB home bays, allocated seating for all other members) has worked a treat to keep behaviour acceptable at Parramatta Stadium. (I refuse to call our ground "Pirtek" ;-).)

C'mon Wanderers club, have some integrity and tell the truth and do something about your RBB - rather than try to pull the wool over the FFA, the media and the (potentally) soccer-loving public's eyes! Ban the RBB members who step out of line, then be strong and wait out any "protests".

$50 k fine and suspended 3 competition points for 12 months.
This opens up many a can of worms.

Wet lettuce , anyone

Sort of.
Gallop had to be seen to be doing something. The perpetrators have escaped penalty free though. That's my biggest issue.
These f**kwits (elements of the RBB) wouldn't give a shit if the Wanderers lost 3 points. They are in it for themselves.

Well done Gallop. Now there's an incentive to wear a rival team's colours and set off flares. Integrity of the #aleague is compromised. #RBB

@Aleague David Gallop if the venues "worked hard" as you say then flares would not make it past security & into the stadiums #WANDERERS

How about "Yep our bad. This shit stops now." ??? What gives with WSW fans ?

i hope those dastardly Sydney FC fans don't dress up WSW fans and let off flares at their games.

What a load sh*t but i'm sure if a flare is lit up this will be the WSW defence.

Honestly, how does this penalty stop this from happening though?
They need to find the perpetrators and ban them for life. And continue to do so until it stops.
4 clubs have had flares at games this season. What happens when another club does it? Same penalty? Just asking.
