My favourite player was Gianfranco Zola.

I agree he’s not the GOAT but it’s a lot easier to win World Cups when you play for one of the countries that’s already won multiple of them. I actually think it was impressive that Portugal won a Euro, and he was a major part of that.

I love his play style, and his cocky persona made him shine even more, for me.

And Maldini is just the greatest defender I've ever seen - absolutely phenomenal .
