Hey the bird finally got here. I know you said wait for it to load Twiz but 22 hours is stretching the friendship a bit i think. And what an anti-climax it was anyway

This opening 0-0* game of the season has me pumped for tomorrow night's "derby"...

(* = after 78 minutes, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...)

Lol, only decent stuff in teh whole game was in the final 10 minutes (or 15, if you include the injury time).

I'm happy - since I'm such an A-League fan I've entered a tipping comnp this season, and tipped the draw so I'm on top of the table :p.

Phantom Bart - hates a-league and Jarryd Hayne so much he absolutely must stalk the shit out of them
Lol, I guess it's better than stalking the shit out of someone whenever they post about selected topics on an internet forum... I just posted how much of an A-League fan I am, that I'm in (and leading) a tipping comp for it, so I'm not sure what you're going on about!

If you think goals are the 'only decent stuff' in a game of soccer it's no wonder you hate it.
Lol, you yourself posted that it was a "ripper finish". I prefer good defence to sporadic/flashy attack, but my comment stands... eight yellow cards, and the scrappy low scoring part of the match was not quality viewing imo.

I'm not sure who to tip in the "derby"... Wanderers "home" game, but Homebush ain't Wanderland.

Sportsbet have Sydney FC as very slight favourites, and I'm tempted to tip that way... but will play it safe and go for the draw.

It was a ripper finish because it was a last minute equaliser, not because of any advantage to the attack or defence.

Lol, so you yourself say it was a ripper finish, and admit it was because of the goal scored to equalise)... and then try/fail to criticise someone for saying that the final 10-15 mins (including the finish) was the only decent period of play?
