I actually didn’t think this hip drop was as bad or blatant as some of the others - I don’t think he was intending to injure, and if Hastings had not got hurt, I doubt he’d have been charged - they weren’t even gonna penalise until Tamou kicked off and was originally going to be pinged for dissent. The one by Cleary earlier in the year was much more sinister and only copped a fine. It’s the inconsistency that’s ridiculous - Dale and Nikora’s vs Cleary/NAS/Tino in origin…. It’s ridiculous.

Patten was responsible for some of the biggest howlers when he was in the bunker! How has he moved to this role?!

Kennedy gets hurt in a hip drop and Tatola gets nothing. Nikora gets two weeks for the same tackle with less impact on Bromwich.

The explanation of the Nelson incident is mind blowing.

Joke that Nelson got off. 4 weeks for Carrigan is probably not enough, he dead set broke a bloke’s leg. Shocking tackle.

don’t even start me on the match review committee/judiciary

Didnt Alfie use to specialize in a form of Hip drop /trip type of thing on bigger players ? Is he the tackling coach now?And the cumberland throw? would that be called a Hip drop? Anyway Carrigans tackle was a shocker, how ever you look at it.

In the past iv always been against players being charged differently if they cause injury but when you compare it to how the law sentences iv changed my mind. But they can’t pick and choose when and who.

Keep it simple and keep ALL accidental charges to 1 week

carless 2 weeks

Reckless 3 weeks

Then add loading on a charge that’s led to injuries.

1 week loading if a player is expected to miss 2 to 4 weeks.

2 weeks loading more than a month out

3 weeks for season ending injuries

Frenzy.

Cumberland throw. Don't think it's allowed now.
