If trump is for the rich and powerful, the far left would argue that a significant inequality of wealth serves to drive social unrest, thus accelerating political change. So in theory, they’d be supporting him.

I said 6 months ago that any incumbent government across the world will struggle to get re-elected emerging out of a post high inflation economy. Peeps tend to be low information and punish accordingly, no matter the quality of the alternative candidate and the political persuasion. If you scan across the globe, a change in government is more common than the re-election of existing. Hard work to sell a story that you deserve another go, doesn’t matter if you are in Indonesia, Finland or Mexico.
