he is such a merkin to say that publically about someone's spouse, imagine if Harry said that about Melania there would be instant Trump outrage

It is more likely he wants their wealth to stay in America
well the wife in this case has taken plenty of public pot shots at him .... so, don't get into a shit fight unless you can handle it

not sure Melania has had public digs are Harry

Mt Druitt Fantom LU cub reporter here, live from the panther player catchment.

I’ve just visited the scene of the Kingswood Pizza stabbing.

I’ve interviewed one of the shopkeepers as I am a customer there.

If I get three likes, I am happy to relay the story of this terrible, terrible tragedy.

An LU exclusive.

fair point but can you imagine say an Aussie pollie saying something so personal about an Australian celebrity's wife ?

pollies come under criticism from people from all walks of life on almost a daily basis, journos in particular but does any pollie have a crack at someone else's wife ?

he's not a nice guy

Cmon answer it seriously what's it mean to the Aussie battler how did we get to those figures

Inflation is down for a number of reasons, obviously high interest rates, but less obviously less international pressure and a couple of budget surpluses

Wages growth is a direct result of government policy, a reversal of the previous governments deliberate wage suppression.

And unemployment has remained steady through the same demand pressures that have fuelled inflation, however this has been well managed with government policy supporting jobs growth.

Importantly wages growth is trailing inflation, not leading it, inflationary pressure on interest rates is easing, and without the fall in employment the boffins at the RBA are looking for. Meaning that whilst economic growth is poor, the economy is proving to be pretty resilient.

Oh and as I predicted, interest rates remain on hold after the February meeting.

See I don't personally know folks who do, but replace that with say a footy team and yeah, plenty do.

But how is that at all the same as a Christian treating Trump as a god?

Personally?

Anyway if you do want to see people fawn over a political party just pop over to any social media platform. (You can sometimes see it on here)

Not sure I personally know folks that are Christians and treat trump as a god.

So Inflation not down due to government?
What policies made wage growth go up?
What policies helped unemployment?

So what's that mean to the Aussie battler?

Fuels prices going to come down?
Electricity prices?
Food?
Water?
Gas?
Insurance
Council rates
House prices
Rent

All down?

Nope, if you see drops in any of those it won't have f**k all to do with inflation, that's the thing with inflation, it compounds up, not down.

If it starts going down, that's deflation, and if that's happening the economy has turned to shit

The only way to claw back some ground is for wages to rise at a greater rate than inflation.

So Inflation not down due to government?

This governments influence on inflation falling is probably about as much as the previous governments influence on inflation rising, so some, but certainly not all.

What policies made wage growth go up?
What policies helped unemployment?

You could start here.......

I went there Bandy, but it seems to be government pr stuff.

My understanding is that governments of any persuasion have some kind of influence, but are also subject to the winds of broader economic change.

And when I studied economics at school, we learned about policy lead-in periods.

Paul Keating once likened the economy to a big heavy ship that takes a while to change direction, slow down or speed up.
