I'd go 50% of funds for inheritance (for children and second spouse to argue and bicker about), and 50% to government.

But yeah, take a value on the share/s of the house (rather than pass it on or allow for generational asset wealth/sale) and only pass those values on to the inheritor/s as credits for something, like bonds toward lifelong learning/higher education costs etc.
