That's how it's always been, some would say. Inequality between old money vs new/aspirational money vs the masses without privilege.

For people concerned about money and financial standing etc, the next generation's best hope is to marry into wealthier families.

This is not correct. Of course there was i heritances but a large majority of boomers where immigrants amd didnt get a boost me up. In the 90s and early to mid 2000s house prices where not out of control and affordable. A lot of boomers not only had their home but investments properties they'll pass down.
This is going to cause issues.

Is the Meidis Touch podcast the one that is supposed to be the new number 1 podcast in place of Joe Rogan?
I looked at it and every single episode is about shitting on Trump. Is there more to it than that? FFS what a complete bore.

Even Joe Rogan regularly shits on Trump these days, according to reports. It must be what Americans want to hear - doesn't bode well for the Orange Man in the mid-term elections.

There is a neurodivergent kid on TikTok and his mum just started asking him random questions about the world. He seems to be able to see things in a very coherent non emotive non partisan way. He may not always be right, but his opinions are (of late anyway) eye opening and always worth a look.

We all know how it works. You get inflation down. Unemployment needs to be at a certain level. Economic growth needs to be above this or that. THEN you might get an interest rate drop, but they won't go too early etc etc. FFS we have been in this arm wrestle for ages.

Over on the other side of the pacific, they think they can bully their version of the Reserve Bank into dropping interest rates by threatening to sack him/her, calling them un-American etc. The reasoning that the current administration thinks that rates should be down lower is because "it would be better".
