An uber bitter Double IPA would be a good counterpoint to a slop fest sandwich. Very light and clean in comparison.

There are definitely bad eggs and they need to collectively lift their game, but f**k me it is an absolute merkin of a job.

I'd be shitting my pants and most of the other critical merkins on here would be if they were in the same job. The lack of respect for authority is the fundamental problem right now. Everything else is secondary and a by-product of that problem.

By the same token, when authority is abused, you can't reasonably expect people to respect it.

It's a two way street, respect can only ever be earned, it can never be gained through force, that's called fear.

I wish more people were sensible enough to realise that it is a minority that abuse their authority.
