Trump isn't good at either. Even his biggest fans wouldn't call him a 'thinker'.

He isn't even that good at 'getting shit done'. He is too irrational and inconsistent to ever see anything through properly.


Completely understand why he has been voted in and wouldn't be surprised if, despite some of the recent media he gets voted in again.

Also understand that some of the commentary about him has been childish and appears obsessed with trying to find a 'gotcha' moment.

But he has helped create that environment so I don't have any sympathy for him in the least.

If you look at his achievements the balance of probability points to him being a genius. But I agree he has been intentionally divisive, and if a political leader needs to be a figurehead first (and I'm leaning toward this being the case) then he is a poor one.

Is it possible for a US president to unite them? Identity politics is massive over there, and the Democrats seem to have moved away from the blame-white-men identity coalition that is being pushed. They will no doubt pursue this again in a decade or two when demographics suit them better.

Meanwhile, Biden is mediocre enough that he mightn't piss too many people off. It's probably what they need.
