I’m white, so I’m happy to take the stance of the aboriginal people within my extended circle of friends, colleagues, acquaintances in what they feel is the best way to go. 70-80% of them are voting No. they don’t believe for one minute the establishment of the voice will have any real impact or benefit to the people who need it, and it will become nothing more than a political jostling tool where red tape stops funds going where needed, just as it does now. It doesn’t speak for them, and it won’t.

I’ve also always found Jacinta Price to be a level headed, forthright and vigilant campaigner for her people, and she is adamantly against it

When this constitution was written they had a white australia policy, women weren't automatically included/able to vote (except in SA due to a state law) and indigenous people were considered flora and fauna.
