In all seriousness, it's not good. Where I live is Australia's largest Jewish school and there are merkins wearing olive green vests, head sets and they are all packing heat.

They have been walking on egg shells for 20/30 years. We always joke about the guns but the Darlinghurst nazi thing today makes it real.

During this saga the person that most impressed me was Jacinta Price. I reckon she could do a better job than the current PM or Dutton.

She has a bright future.

She has handled herself incredibly well. Definitely better than Dutton, better than Lydia Thorpe, and (sadly, because she could have been such an asset to Yes) better than Linda Burney.

I'm not too familiar with her views on other matters, but suspect (onbviously, as an LNP Senator) that she leans conservative, and (obviously, being promoted under Dutton) leans more conservative than her predecessor LNP shadow minister Julian Lesser and previous LNP minister Ken Wyatt - who are both proudly spruiking the case for voting Yes.

For Jacinta Price to even be a chance to end up PM, she'd need to contest a lower house seat - there are only two up for grabs in the NT, and I think they've proved much harder for LNP to win than one of the two Senate spots she's serving in.

She is definitely conservative, I suspect she would have to move to another state, probably NSW, if she wanted to become PM. Not sure that is her goal though. She can probably stick with being Senator for the NT and achieve what she wants otherwise.

You could be leader of a party as senator. Not ideal, but there are no constitutional blocks to it.

Gordon took the gig as Senator until he won a by- election.

I am guessing in his absence in the house of reps the leader of the house or the deputy ran stuff on the floor.

No sane person wants to see Jewish people harmed for being Jewish. These people need to be educated or locked up.

But all this upgrading of retribution against the Gaza folk, phosphorus bombs and killing u.n aid workers -that sucks too.

That was a bit of an anomaly, primarily caused by some unique circumstances.
