I remember it well. For @the phantom menace and “Yes lads,” I nailed a potential “No voter” today.
I said to young bloke;
“ Mate, you gotta vote yes, or I’m telling you, you won’t be able to look at another indigenous mate square in the eye ever again.”
I know that’s a bit tough, but tough times call for tough measures.
He didn’t look happy, but I had to try to make the impact.
Kids are protesting about going to the protest.
if it was Samoan they’d be there yesterday.
Her Highness can’t get me arrested quickly enough though.
“ just don’t ring me to bail you out moron”
They're also part of the LNP, where you can have a view different to that of the Party.Yes, Malcolm could be an inclusion.
Maybe the reason half of these people feel safe to speak is that they don't have to answer to bully boy Dutton to keep them in a career.
Huge Kudos to Julian Lesser, who actually resigned his position as Shadow Attorney-General and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians to take a principled stand (against his leader) on supporting the Voice that the LNP had actually spent the previous 9 years developing and support through Minister Ken Wyatt's work with Indigenous communities.
Do you think either really would be really running the US as President?Who gives a f**k about who is more entertaining? Dogshit metric.
Politics is just school debating as a full time career. You pick a side and propogate the argument for your team, whether it fits your values or not. It's why so many lawyers are a natural fit. It's kinda funny how so many libs gain a conscience once they retire from politics.
Similar stuff happens on this forum. One in particular always picks the harder team that no merkin really believes in. He then goes full circle, gets paranoid, is exposed, publicly blocks people and thinks the guy in front of him is following him.Politics is just school debating as a full time career. In reality the majority don't totally believe in it all. It's just a game for the best of them.
It was a kind of like “broken play” in league. There is something wrong with Erin Molan. In my opinion, she does not seem well. You just don't interview like that, no matter how deflective the interviewee is.
Funny you should mention (claim) that... when this appears to be happening in the LNP to squash the success of Yes?They're also part of the LNP, where you can have a view different to that of the Party.
Not applicable in the Labor Party, there is only the majority view.
I'm not going to continue discussing Israel/Palestine issues, as it's probably the most complex region on the planet. For example ?
Liberals may threaten. Labor don't threaten, it's simply a case of the majority way or the high way. You tow the majority line or you pack your bags and f**k off. There is no option to publicise a different view once the Party decides the view, and whilst your in the party, that is now your view. The end of the conversation.Funny you should mention (claim) that... when this appears to be happening in the LNP to squash the success of Yes?

Liberal ‘Yes’ supporters threatened with losing preselection
The leader of the Liberals for Yes organisation says party members have told her they are being threatened with losing preselection if they campaign in favour of voting ‘Yes’ at the referendum.www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au
Agree with the first part, but not the last bit. She started in TV in 2012 - 5 years before Jim Molan became a senator for NSW.Erin Molan should have been booted from the Public eye after she smeared Semi without a shred of evidence, then once he got off she never apologised. Untalented hack who lived off her daddy’s name.
