This is the kind of stuff people like this listen to only a week ago. The normalisation of this kind of rhetoric by celebrities and media of the left. Why is this kind of rhetoric allowed? Remember the Kathy Griffin casual fake beheading?

The FBI has not confirned motive so, I think it is safe to assume the membership means zero at this stage. Multiple unusual threats were noted on the day and the whole situation is very unusual regarding the secret service which is obviously provided by Biden administration. He did evade them because they sweep the area usually. Good job on face value in the end by those involved, but obviously it is going to be investigated further. Should not happen and inches away from a different result.

The most obvious answer is probably the right one in this case. Demented politically motivated attack.

There are very obvious issues with him getting so many shots off, so many people knowing a shooter to be on the building and informing police, secret service lining him up beforehand and Trump continuing to speak... as sourced above. A lot to be investigated.

My intent in quoting and repeating the discovery that the shooter was a signed up Republican member was more just highlighting assumptions in previous posts (including @Pou's) that this assassination attempt on Trump was all somehow down to the "left wing".

Oh I believe they're left wing, and likely responsible for radicalising this person. But his actions are his own responsibility. The left are responsible for sowing disinformation about the Republican candidate and radicalising his opponents. But they are free to deny responsibility for his actions, because they were his actions. That's how personal responsibility works.
