Guns represent freedom and safety to a lot of people, and if you’ve ever been in lawless parts of the world you will have seen the truth of it.

Western urbanites like all of us live close to witnesses if not actual well funded police forces. We don’t need guns to feel safe. But I wouldn’t even go camping in the bush without a gun, and if you’re smart neither would you.
