Jack Black says he no longer feels it is "appropriate" to continue the Tenacious D tour as the internet erupts over a controversial joke at the band's recent Sydney show.

It’s JB protecting his brand, a lot of his movies are family friendly so I doubt he wanted to be dragged into it too much. They are lifelong friends so I’ll doubt this is end of the road for the band.

People forget and the next thing in a week or two will be the worst thing ever.

See the problem here is there is weather, and there is climate, and whilst they are interrelated, they are are not interchangeable.

Had tickets to Tenacious D tomorrow night, tour is now canceled after the comments made by KG the other night. Bands future in doubt apparently.

Jack Black is purely protecting his brand which is understandable, once this blows over they will tour and record again.

America has always been a lawless place. Their crime rates are much higher than other developed countries. Policing responsibilities are so widely distributed that there are massive gaps in the coverage, whether geography or jurisdiction. There is the legacy of slavery, and also a long history of young and poor (violent demographics) immigrants compared to Australia.

Plus they have a culture of self sufficiency. Even their Karens wanted to Defund the Police.
