I’m fairly certain he knew what we were voting for. I get that you don’t like his policies (I don’t like some of them either), but I think it’s a bit ridiculous to suggest he didn’t know what we were voting for.

Every leader wants to be known for something notable. This was his.
He failed and his leadership will be remembered for nothing of importance.
His leadership made no tangible difference to anyone's lives.

I voted for hime becuase I couldn't stand ScoMo. And I still think he is a good human (Albo) but to much of a yes man and maybe even to nice. Let's be honest Albo has no balls. I'd say Penny Wong has a bigger set

I don't think is was the key aim of his term in government - if anything Albo seemed disinterested and didn't even campaign hard for the Voice. Doing the referendum (not necessarily winning it) was just one among many pre-election promises that he had to follow through on, and he did.

His leadership made no tangible difference to anyone's lives.

I can agree it has been a bit bland in terms of style of "leadership". It seems to plague Labor PMs after they get into office, they become nicer and a bit meh - possibly as a contrast to the rabid ferals (apart from Turnbull) who tend to lead the LNP.

I said completely of course he knew the big ticket items but he had no idea on all of it and should if he was driving it. (He was asked by reports and couldn't explain)

Also I don't like some of his policies same with Voldemort's policies.

Nah. He knew how it worked in detail. No PM in recent history has ever put forward something like this and not been totally across it.

Where he struggled was to enthusiastically get behind it because he knew well before voting day that it was a lame duck.

If you can find evidence of him not being across it then I’ll happily concede that I am wrong.

Humans are still quite tribal. The ones who get the furthest in life usually will have a good support system they can rely on. Not only are they aware of this they appreciate their group and it brings them joy.
Separating yourself from others and creating a divide are not the traits of an intelligent man.
