Quite a few times in recent history that Australia has been hit by tariffs from the US (usually for particular industries) to protect US suppliers

seems like we have a quota on exports of sugar. Given how much sugar the US consumes removing that tariff might get Trump a huge drop in inflation

I don't think many other leaders would have done what she did during Covid.

You just can't do that. If you were given a life sentence as a career criminal, you still have the right to see your family. To have access to American lawyers and social services. There is no way that a Guantanamo Bay on steroids would work for US citizens.
