Clubs in financial difficulties

When a British club imports a player from here its not only the players wages, but accomodation for the player and his family if he brings his family over with him, and that won't be cheap. Also on top of that they might have to buy a player from here a car and tax and insure that car, which means more expense.
Clubs at all levels in British Rugby League have a lot of work to do from juniors upwards.

Barring London and then a smattering elsewhere, Australian imports in the Championship are few and far between. Australians aren’t really the problem outside the Super League.

dissapointing, I still believe wales has abetter chance than London of being a successful SL club. Hopefully someone with deep pockets comes along.

I think the issue is going to always be where in Wales you locate it. You need someone with deep pockets, a willingness to go long-term and strong community support. I can't really think of many Welsh towns/cities that fit that profile.
