You miss the point. Here it matters who is the boss. The bottle stopped at Zelensky and he was supposed to kiss and give Trump a hug. Instead he insulted him by giving the very hand that feeds him a prophecy on how America will feel when it happens to them.

Sounds like pretty boss behaviour to me? And good for Trump to learn that things don't always go to the bully's script.

Zelenskyy was right to challenge them, and ultimately walks away from the humiliated playground bullies with integrity intact. Europe - the good parts anyway - will increase their commitments and stand in solidarity with Ukraine.

As should Albo and Dutton, to be honest - and probably would if there wasn't an election around the corner. Dutton has most to lose by Trump's behaviour... his mini-Trump strategy to capitalise on any "Trump effect" is up in flames today!

Yes, any opposition leader around the world who thought trying to mimic Trump might be a good idea is having very serious second thoughts about strategy after today's performance.

Dutton wouldn't know what to do atm - wouldn't surprise if Albo (or at least Wong) starts to apply the pressure, making statements in support of Ukraine's right to defend it's borders against Russia. Basically trying to force Dutton to come out and publicly denounce Trump - which then means Dutton is back to the drawing board.
