How was it predictable when Zelenskyy tried to talk about diplomacy and questions the US commitment in front of the world media. Perhaps he should have done all this behind closed doors and just do the usual PR stuff in front of the cameras and eventual sign off.

I actually think Trump was quite diplomatic until JD Vance pulled Zelenskyy up.

As per above - and a heck of a lot of media analysis, including from right-wing media - it was a set up, leading to this predictable outcome of Trump (attempting... failing?) to build a convincing case for the US to ceasing aid. Glad the rest of the world can stand with Ukraine, and stand with the rule of international law, against the continuing invasion and land/mineral grab by Putin - and against his now lap dog in debt, the Trumpeter.

Ukraine agitated the Russians and paid the price. Not an inch to the east was promised way back when the Berlin Wall fell. They f**ked up and now their borders will change or at best Russia will have their own independent provinces within their country.

Their own flirtation with fascism didn’t help their cause either. But who cares what we think, depending on whom I am arguing with Russia will invade Poland next. Thats the rhetoric isn’t it? Oh dear again... surely they would have won already within three years, if they were ever going to win. For Russia/Putin now it's how to walk away without massively losing face to the entire whole world... seems he helped Trump in some way, and is now calling in the debt from his orange haired/tanned lap dog.

At Dutton... very risky line he's chosen to take, to stick to his strategy of being mini-Trump. At least Albo is being a man of his word, instead of a coward like his opposition.

Standing with Ukraine means sending some of our existing defence forces (otherwise perhaps twiddling their thumbs) over there - not conscription of our kids or WW3 of course, as someone hysterically claimed here earlier this week.
