In 2000- 2005 Palestinians would strap bombs to their own children and send them on suicide missions. I think none of us know what is really going on.

But we can see what the current Israeli government - and actual country with agreed and recognised borders - is doing to citizens outside of those borders in Gaza.

A bit hard to criticise the country of Palestine, when it doesn't have an agreed territory, hence nor a formal elected government.

My opinion is that Hamas don’t have the best interest of the Palestinian people in mind.

You may be quite right there too - even though it doesn't absolve the Israeli government's actions.

Well, it's quite clear that the Israeli govt don't either, hence their attempting to completely wipe them out. Either bomb them into submission or starve them to death. That is their clear goal.
It's genocide, pure and simple, and in this day and age, I don't get how the world can allow this to continue.
Hence, the reason for yesterday's march over the bridge.
It made a statement across the world, from little old Australia.

My opinion is that Hamas don’t have the best interest of the Palestinian people in mind.

That’s hardly controversial. They are a terrorist organisation.

Israel isn't innocent either though. They are doing more than 'retaliation' and have a long and dangerous history of influencing global politics.

There are no 'good guys' in this story and the degree to which clueless thickshits from the western world have chosen one side over the other has me bamboozled.

I feel for the innocent people on both sides who have been killed and remain under threat, but centuries of history tells us that there are barbaric f**kwits on both sides intent on ensuring that long-term, sustained peace and prosperity remains elusive.

The world is in a sad place at the moment.

When they killed 200+ innocents kids at a music festival and took hostages I said to my friend Israel is going to destroy them for this.
Do I agree with whats happening? No. But do you think that the people behind this where not expecting retaliation?

I’m not trying to defend anything but what I must admit in the end there will be winners and losers. The world is better off if Israel win and obliterate Hamas once and for all. Nobody wants them, not even their neighbours. Maybe you can take a couple of refugees to feel better about yourself. I know I won’t be.

Someone actually took a Ukrainian family in my street. They found out I was of a Serbian background and refused to speak to me. I labelled them f**kwits. The people that took them on realised later that they were parasites and labelled them the same.

But hey you labelled the entire Russian nation the same recently so I can do it with one garbage Ukrainian family.
