I spent too munch time at the Caringbah Inn.
I played a few gigs there over the years. I remember one night, the band I was in at the time were supporting the Allniters. We'd done other gigs with them before and got on with them quite well. We did our set and then went back to the dressing room and drank most of their drink rider while they did their set. Didn't do any gigs with them after that. :)

Yep.
What was the name of the night club that did 50 cent drinks in Sutho late 80s??

Jezz that was some times.

Was it Hunters?.
Maybe - but the 'Jewel' Shopping Centre I remember was the one that eventually became 'Franklin's' - they had the 'No Name' brand - see posts above...

RIP Ollie Olsen, of Max Q, Dogs In Space, Whirlywirld and all round Australian electronic and experimental innovator, aged 66.

that Max Q album he made with Hutch was just orgasmic.

I'd argue that Hutchence's best work was outside INXS.

Very sad - saw him on Rage a few months back and he looked in bad shape. Only a few days ago he was on Instagram as he was back in hospital.
All the best in the afterlife OO

Yeah - I watched ‘Dogs in Space’ - the movie starring Hutchence. The soundtrack had a collab with Olsen. The later Max Q stuff was great.
