RIP Rick Buckler, drummer for The Jam. They were a great band.

Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Buffy's sister, Dawn, in Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
I had the hots for them both back in the day.
Only 39. Very sad.

RIP Roberta Flack, best known for her version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Killing Me Softly with his song. First Time became a big hit 3 years after its release, after its inclusion in Clint Eastwood's famous lady psycho movie "Play Misty for Me", which I'm sure all the older fourmers will remember well.

Dave Johansen 75 lead singer from the infamous early 70's band, New York Dolls.
They were pretty influential in both the punk and glam metal scenes that came about later through their music and fashion sense.
Dave was also a bit of an actor. I didn't mind him in this flick called "Let it Ride".

Very sad, this obituary from The Guardian gives a good career overview, though it doesn't mention his role in The Eurhythmics, with whom he recorded from their first lp onwards.
