Russia being wiped out has certainly made it feel not only a more clean Olympics but given us more chance to win gold medals.

But for a little battling country down under like gee we punch above weight.

Watching the Men's pursuit how good beating the poms.

It's amazing how they all stay in one line in the same pace.

The practice and training they must do is incredible.

Oops we play USA next. Are we a chance?

Anything is possible, but it is in the realms of:

The kid was born in USA. Lived on the GC from age 1 to 14. Moved back to the states.

Now at age 21 he still skates for Oz.

That's what loyalty is Blaize.

==================

"Honestly it's where I learnt how to walk, talk, skate, surf, it's where I learnt everything I know how to do," Palmer said of Australia, where he lived until he was 14 and moved back to the states.

"I feel like I owe it to Australia and the Gold Coast where I learnt how to skate. It just felt right for me, for sure

Talagi doesn't even know how to spell "loyalty", let alone what it means.

San Diego, Marseille, Durban are as much Australian towns now as what Auckland, Bowraville, Minto, Port Moresby are to Queensland.

lol.
Missing the point much?

Not at all. I'd say he makes a great point. We are a wealthy country with good weather that are big on sports.
We would need a money spent on children & athletes per captia to make a fair comparison not just population. Amount of people is a completely pointless stat if they don't play sport.

He is getting the chance tomplay along side Nathan. I don't blame him. Our coaching staff couldn't even work out his position. His dad is a coach and obviously not impressed with our rubbish set up.
