Fharrk me, how did I miss it.

As Professor Julius Sumner Miller would of said, "The answer is obvious Young DJDL"

The reason I missed it was because I have not watched A Current Affair ever since they stitched up Matty Johns and the infamous Racecourse Hotel Gangers.

If ACA was that blessed with investigative journalist they would of found and interviewed the bloke who the barmaid actually knocked back.

Anyhowse it is probably a different A Gee to the A Gee the NRL mob couldn't locate and when you think about it the Story is nowhere as big as Tracey Grimshaw

I wonder whether Clive Palmer approached him to run for parliament, next to his former team mate Greg "Dish Head" Dowling ?

Youse correct Tom, if the real Andrew Gee could only just be found then yes, he would make a great Palmer Candidate.

Just follow the money Sir Tom..... follow the money.
Who could forget that it wasn't that long ago that Poor Clive was a knocking on deaths door Christopher Skase style when he had to front the Federal Court. It is a pharrcan miracle I tell youse, a miracle

Quigs seems to be fairly quiet tonight...

Maybe preoccupied with something else...?!?!?

Narhhh got to cop it on the chin. I'm feeling a bit like I did on that Tuesday night after the replay of the drawn 78 grand final.

Didn't see it coming. No one saw it coming.

Sportsbet paid out $1.7 mill already. Never won a poll in 3 years and f**k me dead Scummo looks like he has got them up.

Might have to go and find the nearest Happy Clapping Church and see what is in the water.

The people have spoken. I have to accept that.

Our future is bleak.

True sharks style, undermanned a lot of his big name players had taken the Greg Inglis retirement package and run, bill who if you have seen is the fastest runner in his team cut holes through scomos defence , and yet a last minute miracle play sees an upset come from behind victory.

Quigsy, I wonder if the reason Labor lost is that Australians are actually more conservative (in their hearts) than many believe.

The gay agenda, the abortion agenda, the climate change agenda - all of these things are being pushed heavily by the media and the (other) left-wing lobby groups.

They are telling Australians what they think, and I’ve never met a rational human being who enjoys that.

I’m not in the ScoMo Pentecostal happy-clapper camp, but I am a Christian, which will not win me any friends here...

"They are telling Australians what" they" think, and I’ve never met a rational human being who enjoys that."

That can be taken any of three ways .
  1. The second "they" meaning the" media and(other ) left wing lobby groups.
  2. second "they" meaning Australians
3. 2 + You left out "should " between 2nd they and "think "

None of which I believe to be true .Climate change is not a "Left wing agenda " That goes into ridiculous conspiracy theories . It is a measured Phenomenon ,with measurable causes that the great majority of Scientist across many disciplines , who understand scientific method and analysis of statistical data , agree is caused (or at least greatly accelerated ) by Current Human practices.

I also don't believe you will gain or lose any friends simply stating you are Christian . To quote Charlie Danials " Preacher man says Jesus Walked on the water , I do believe its true. But sometimes I think Preacher man wants to do a little walking too".

I like to think Im christian too And more right wing than Abbot Jones or any of that ilk. I love the answer Paul gave in Ephesians when asked How they knew who to believe of the speaking in tongues and promising what God can do for you superstitious , happy clapping preachers that sprang up shortly after the Crucifixion.

"Believe that which is Proven , Hold fast that which is good" Sounds like good advice for rational thinking and good choices in life.

Bluey you can be what ever you want to be. It's not up to me to judge. I am happy to be a non drinking, master chef, heathen.

I just have to accept the people have spoken. It is called democracy although one man invested 60 to 80 million to have his democratic say. Elections in Aus as we know it have now changed forever. We are down the Yank path now and it won't be reversed. (Psst and the same bloke has not yet paid back his workers)

Personally I am afraid that we now live in a racist right wing nut job society. An "I'm alright Jack", f**k you society. There is not going to be a fair go for everyone. It is and will be mates looking after mates. Especially if they are big mates with big dollars involved.

Action on Climate change: we can now put that back for at least another three years. Nothing to worry about there I guess.

Ministers can now come out from behind whiteboards, out from witness protection, out and fear not of investigation of rorting (multi million dollar water paybacks to mates, $30thou a month internet payments), ministers refusing to answer AFP investigations .... the list will go on. But hey I am alright Jack.

One must remember that this parliament only sat for 8 days in the last 8 months.

My opinion for what its worth ..... we now have our very own Brexit - time will tell. I am an old quigs, I really worry for those with young and teenage kids who will now find themselves at the mercy of casualisation on the work force, no penalty rates and no job security. If you have young kids look forward to them living under your roof for a long time to come.

But Congrats to all those that won.

Every cloud has a silver lining ..... At least I will get 1 hour / 1 and 1/2 hours of my life a day back. My campaign is over. As Paul Keating said the PM Gilliard, "Don't worry love, sooner or later everyone in this joing gets carried out in a box.

There is already action on the CO2 hoax / scare campaign

Renewable energy capacity is being installed at record levels , we have what 6 coal plants left ?

We don't need to be taxed to achieve their goal, electricity is already expensive enough to have to watch what you use

I don't believe Australians are right-wing to the extreme.

I think the majority are moderate/middle, they wanted same sex marriage, believe in doing something about climate change but also want to make sure they can live a comfortable life, build their nest and set up their kids and grand kids with a future.

Scomo was selling most of that, there still needs to be a bit of work done in the climate realm sure but some of the big independent wins were all based on that so the balance looks right .

I personally didn't buy what shorten was selling, particularly about not being able to articulate his climate plans and just seeming to want to tax the crap out of everything to pay for everything but I always thought the best result would be for the liberals to somehow win majority but Abbott, Dutton and Joyce somehow get bumped out.

That was a tall order and didn't happen but Dutton was close and Abbott is gone who is probably the biggest climate denier.

It wasn't a bad result as long as the likes of Zali steggall keeps the bastards honest.

You and Reefy are still shitty for shouting my rooftop solar all those years ago.

Are you still carrying that chip on your shoulder.

Crikey I still remember Reefy banging on about f**kishima being reopened in three weeks because it was so safe.

Thanks for your responses, guys.

I may have been a bit strong on the climate change thing. It is an issue and we DO need to care for our environment and not trash it!!!
