Compared to Millward, Mullholland is a genius...

I don’t like Millward anymore than the next bloke, but at least he procured the likes of Vaughan and T. Sims. In comparison, who did Mullholland attract? Havili, McCrone?

I’m unsure whether all those “names” were recruited by Mullholland but it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s correct,

People’s inflated opinion towards Mullholland is terribly overrated. There’s a reason why he didn’t make as an NRL coach.

The main thing that Mulholland did for us was untangle our salary cap which was an unmitigated mess.
In the end, he was not given the support required to build a great roster at St. George so he didn't waste any time, he just left..
As for Millward, even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally.
