apparently has a good footy brain but yeah, as a player he was awful.

apparently, legend has it, in 2010 (i think it was) when the raiders did a parra 09 like run in the back half of the year it was because mcfadden was ignoring furner's instructions that he was meant to pass on to the players when he ran on the field as a trainer and giving his own. after a few wins on the trot furner sat in a post-match presser taking the credit for the team's change in form, even though it was mcfadden's doing. end of that year when the club did their review of coaching mcfadden got the boot.

Geez Andrew McFadden haven't heard that name in a while, all I remember about him was he was 24 when he was at the Eels but looked about 34.

Even if this isn't true it's a great story and kudos to McFadden for making it up . Even funnier if it is true .

maybe it is pete, and you would have your reasons for thinking that it is, but i have no reason to not believe the person that told me, given all the other raiders related info he has given me over the last few years that has been on the money.
