Yeah. I had Cows losing to South’s and beating a rested Panthers side at home
Parra beating Melbourne would also be funny if it happened.

But I'm counting on ol Ivan to rest a ton of players, if it was a home game/sydney game i'd expect more to play - but maybe not with the travel

1) I'm not worried about who we play. Have to beat whoever lines up on the other side of the field and no game will be easier than another

2) Resting players hasn't hurt the Panthers all year. They'll still beat the Cows. It also remains to be seen if that happens. Ivan throws dummies like the best of them.

Honestly mate, I agree with the Kennedy factor. I swear we did not play our usual attacking game at all.
It was all through the middle with no spread on usual plays.
They practiced their defensive plays to a T. There was no benefit in for and against for us.

Yep we as fans are not used to our team playing differently week to week depending on the opposition. In fitzy we trust.

The team getting a lot of attention right now is Easts. They have 7 wins in a row coming off 3 losses in a row before that. Cronulla has lost once since the bye and have won 5 in a row. Winning is a habit. When winning a lot means some wins will be ugly. I suspect Fitz is fine with some ugliness now to keep the players sharp reminding them of the extra gears needed when the big games come.

Easts have expended a lot of energy whereas Conulla are going about their business quietly. The 'experts' are saying Easts are timing their run perfectly. A team can go from battle hardened to beat up quickly.

Not this year but next year a project Fitz, Uele at 13, man has too many skills to be a battering 1st play ram. He doesn't exactly fit the meta at 18 stone and may not have the minutes in him. Would be innovative but can't see it.
